Finally, a treatment that has reduced my spots and scars!

Do you feel like you’re constantly battling against spots/open pores/scars? I’ve struggled with my skin for so long now. Feeling anxious or stressed makes it a whole lot worse and so tackling the stress has been my first aim – you may remember my post from last year about my dermatitis? I have managed to reduce my stress through meditation and exercise over the past year, so my main aim now is to tackle any remaining scars and to keep my spots at bay. LVL Lash Treatment – Before and After <3

2 years of harsh eyelash glue has really damaged my natural lashes, so I’ve been using a conditioning serum to help my lashes recover. I’ve also had an LVL lash treatment on my natural lashes and here are my results…

HEY BABES!

So, being a beauty blogger means I have a strong addiction towards pretty lashes. This addiction has resulted in me applying clump lashes with strong ass glue non stop for the last 2 years. My lashes used to have a slight curl before this addiction and they would also be so long that they touched the bottoms of my eyebrows when I looked up to the sky (oh the memories!). Ok, so my lashes definitely weren’t the longest but they were still pretty decent now that I look back on them.

Anyways, me being me, I wasn’t happy with what I had so I decided to apply clump lashes every couple of weeks to make my lashes look thicker and perhaps slightly longer too. I never wanted them to look ridiculously long so I just wore short false lashes but they really helped to make my eyes stand out and from there my addiction began. The problem with the harsh glue was that when I was removing the sets of lashes after 2-3 weeks it would pull out some of my natural lashes, leaving me with gaps. The false lashes were also heavy on my natural lashes so now they’re almost dead straight! Here are some photos of my natural lashes before I had my LVL treatment: Continue reading “LVL Lash Treatment – Before and After <3”

My Favourite Beauty Products – Summer 2016

I know I usually post on Sundays but this week I’m feeling motivated. I’ve decided I want to try and post more frequently and invest more time in sharing product reviews on my blog. So what better way to start than with a ‘Summer favourites’? 🙂

WOW! A mid week post.. Am I feeling ok?

I know I usually post on Sundays but this week I’m feeling motivated. I’ve decided I want to try and post more frequently and invest more time in sharing product reviews on my blog. So what better way to start than with a ‘Summer favourites’? 🙂

One day I went up to the counter in Superdrug to buy a few bits and the lady said to me, ‘Are you interested in any of our latest offers? Micellar Cleansing Water for just £1’ I had always walked past this product and never really thought to buy it. I’m so glad that I decided to give this product a try because it has become my new faveeee! I definitely recommend trying it because it’s perfect for keeping on your dressing table.

Whenever my face feels a bit sweaty/grubby in the morning or before bed I apply some of this product to a cotton pad and gently give my face a wipe. It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and what’s great is its perfect for all skin types. Continue reading “My Favourite Beauty Products – Summer 2016”

My Summer so far… <3

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I’ve been on holiday and this weekend I went to London for the weekend with a couple of other bloggers for dinner and drinks (it was lovely). I’m having a busy Summer (/year) so far and time is flying wayyyy to quickly.. I can’t believe I’m 23 in a couple of weeks. CRAZY! So I’ve decided to do a random post on what I’ve been up to so far this Summer…

HEEEY GUYS & GALS!

In March I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in Los Angeles and yeah I know March isn’t Summer, but it’s close enough and lets be honest it’s the most exciting thing I’ve done in my entire life! I had such a lovely time and even got the chance to visit Too Faced HQ in Irvine and let me tell you this, it was pure heaven. I had an exciting tour around their offices, kitchen and studio and lets just say every room was full of makeup, very pink and the weather was lovelyy!

I later returned home back to, well, not so sunny England and reality gave me a huge slap in the face. I returned to work the following week but on the plus side I managed to complete my Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing with a distinction so life wasn’t all that bad (clapsss).

In June I went on a lovely holiday with my boyfriends family to Turkey. I had a great time blogging for World Duty Free at Gatwick airport, the girls were so lovely and helpful. I even got the chance to have my brows done thanks so the lady on the Benefit Cosmetics counter who let me try out their new range. Have you seen/tried it yet? Seriously, it’s a must! I can’t believe how shamaazing their brow product range is now since their recent launch. I highly recommend heading down to your nearest Benefit retailer and asking if you can test out their variety of brow products because they have introduced so many new shades.

Ok so after raiding the Duty Free shop in departures we jetted off to Turkey and basically spent 10 days chilling. I say chilling, I actually faced 2 of my biggest fears and feel pretty proud of myself. I swam with a wild, yes wild turtle that was just swimming around in the lagoon and I also went parasailing! Seeing as I’m afraid of heights and anything that moves I felt like I had accomplished a lot in such a short space of time.

I returned home from Turkey last week and the following day was lucky enough so spend the afternoon at Lush Cosmetics HQ. I had a tour around their offices and tested out some bath bombs. I later went for a luxurious facial in their spa and if this blog post is to teach you one thing, it’s that Lush facials are THE BEST IN THE WORLD! I mean, I’ve not had a facial in another country but I’ve definitely had a few facials and this one was totally unique and worth every penny of the price they charge. Basically, you’re there for around an hour and a half and you get to pick the Lush products you want them to use. You’re then taken to the most beautiful, cosy room.. almost like a cottage where you lay down and listen to a sound track that was recorded right on my doorstep! Well, not literally ON my doorstep but just up the road at Chesil beach. It’s soooo relaxing and the therapist massages you for a whole 60 minutes as well as stretching out the muscles in your arms and legs. I then left there smelling of a walking lush store (perfect).

This weekend just gone I had a manic but enjoyable weekend in London with my two blogger pals, Amy and Victoria. We had a lovely afternoon tea at Sketch – the most picturesque lunch I ever have consumed. If ever you go to Sketch then honestly you’ve GOT to check out their bathroom! You literally pee in pods, that’s all I’m gunna say.

After afternoon tea we got ready for dinner at Bodos Schloss in Kensington where we spent the evening eating and consuming far too much alcohol. We managed to spend the whole night in the VIP area drinking plenty of cocktails, rose and vodka. It was an enjoyable night drinking and dancing the night away! I highly recommend visiting Bodos Schloss for a top night out and we will definitely be returning again soon.

Ok, so that is my Summer so far, it’s been pretty amazing to be honest. Oh yeah, I can’t believe I forgot to mention, my boyfriend proposed to me at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills whilst on our trip to LA (how romantic?) I will never forget both our holidays this year and can’t wait to go back in a year or two.

Please let me know about your Summer so far and any holidays you have been on because I’m always on the hunt to book a holiday for next year. I’d love to hear about any adventures you’ve been on.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I hope you all have a great week!

Want fuller lips and thicker lashes? <3

So if you’re like me you’ve probably tried & tested an endless number of lip plumping products as well as fibre lash mascaras and various shades of lipgloss. I can’t blame you.. But how many of them actually lived up to expectations?

HEEEY!

So if you’re like me you’ve probably tried & tested an endless number of lip plumping products as well as fibre lash mascaras and various shades of lipgloss. I can’t blame you.. But how many of them actually lived up to expectations?

Lip Voltage The Powerhouse <3

This lip plumping product contains not one, not two but three lip plumping ingredients! It gives a cool sensation to the lips and I felt no pain at all. Here are my results after having the product on my lips for just a few minutes. Not only does this product work as a lip enhancer but it really moisturises your lips and lasts a long time.

This product helps to enhance your lips and can be used on a daily basis. It’s a cheaper alternative to cosmetic surgery and I love that it gives a natural finish whilst making my lips look fuller.

Fibregenics Mascara <3

This is a 3 in 1 mascara that helps volumise your lashes, making them look dramatic and thick. It is a fibre based mascara without any fibre drop and it can easily be removed from your lashes at the end of the day.

This mascara has been designed to give a one step fibre mascara with it’s own bonding system unlike other fibre mascaras I have tried where there are 3 steps to the application process.

The wand is perfect! Not too thick and is great for helping to curl your clashes as well as lengthen them.

Colorgenics Red to Pink Lipgloss <3

I always wondered if it was possible to buy a lipgloss with two shades. Well here is it.. The Colorgenics Red to Pink Lipgloss! It features 7 pre selected mixing chambers so you can decide whether you want a more pink or red shade for the day. It is highly pigmented and leaves your lips with a gorgeous shine that lasts ages as well as containing Vitamin E.

Here’s me trying out a more pink shade:

I discovered these products at Dreamweave & Co. They sell a number of high quality beauty products and they don’t cost an absolute fortune either. If you’re looking to achieve fuller looking lips on a daily basis then I’d highly recommend their lip plumper along with the Colorgenics Lipgloss to give your lips a gorgeous colour.
