My 23rd Birthday! <3

I am still in shock that I turned 23 just a few days ago.. Man I’m starting to realise that I’m turning into a fully grown adult. I even had to tell my boyfriend off for calling me a ‘girl’ yesterday. “No I’m not a girl” I replied, “I’m a woman”. At what age do you turn from a girl into a woman? Is there a set age?

Happy Sunday guys and gals!

Anyway, I had an AWSOME Birthday, spent with my boyfriend & sister. My sister and I went to get controversial tattoos (we like to be controversial) LOL! I had a large Bohemian style tattoo on the side of my thigh and my sister had a little elephant on her ankle. I’ve received lots of comments on Instagram asking me if my thigh tattoo hurts. Let me tell you, it’s not an unbearable pain at all, but of course there is an ounce of pain. It feels like a burning friction sensation, but it is definitely a bearable pain. After 5 minutes of being in the chair I hardly thought about the pain because I got used to it. I must admit, the shading felt a bit weird.

Here’s my new thigh tat! I’ve got to go back in a couple of weeks to have a bit added to it but you can see photos when it’s finished over on my Instagram page (so keep an eye out).

We also spent the day shopping in Bournemouth which was great (a girl gotta shop on her Birthday). I bought loads from Topshop and Miss Selfridge. I was a little gutted I didn’t see anything I wanted in River Island because it is my all time favourite shop! (*sad face*)

The weather was gorgeous and we chilled in the gardens with beautiful flowers (I’m not sure what these gardens in Bournemouth centre are called). I could have sat there all day!

We then carried on with a little more shopping and bought a Bubble Tea from the top of town. If you follow me on Snapchat you will understand the love I have for Bubble Tea.. That’s if you haven’t deleted me due to the number of Bubble Tea snaps I post almost daily haha (*monkey covers eyes emoji*).

PS. If you haven’t tried Bubble Tea yet then PLEASE, the next time you’re near a cafe that sells it.. Buy one! It’s surprising how many places sell them these days. They’re so fruity and I swear some of them don’t even contain tea at all? My favourite is the passionfruit syrup with mango boba at the bottom in case you’re stuck deciding on a flavour to try.

After a wonderful day shopping, we headed to Poole for some dinner. We decided to eat at Chiquitos and I had their pulled pork Tacos (nom nom)! For those who love Mexican food, Chiquitos is an absolute must try. We had a lovely meal followed by a quick game of bowling. We decided that whoever lost would have to give the winner their mobile phone for the evening. The winner could send a text message of their choice to 10 of the losers contacts and see what hilarious replies they received back. It was such a tight game and my boyfriend won followed by me and my sister drawing! Can you believe how lucky we were to both draw meaning that no one had to sacrifice their phones for the evening (phew).

I later returned home to a rather large parcel from MissGuided that contained a load of gorgeous dresses, jeans and a top. I love a MissGuided delivery! If you want to find out what items I received then head on over to my Instagram where I will be posting photos over the next couple of weeks 🙂

So that was how I spent my 23rd Birthday. I had the most enjoyable time and I’d like to thank everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday through social media. I will be filming a Youtube haul today on the items I purchased and also on my MissGuided delivery! My video should go live either tonight or over the next couple of days.

Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn Sandals <3

I am amazed at how beautiful this British weather is! It was forecast to rain this weekend yet today I spent the day in a short sleeved top and caught the sun. Who needs to go abroad for Summer when the weather is like this, huh?

Heyyyy,

I am amazed at how beautiful this British weather is! It was forecast to rain this weekend yet today I spent the day in a short sleeved top and caught the sun. Who needs to go abroad for Summer when the weather is like this, huh?

Anyhooo, I decided to publish a post on my gorgeous new Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn sandals. You may have heard of this brand before as they are HUGE in the US but have begun releasing their high quality footwear in the UK too. You can currently browse and buy their gorgeous range from Office Shoes. These black sandals are made of leather and feature twin buckle straps on the sides making them easy to put on and take off. They offer a slight gladiator style which is totally in this season, plus they’re super comfy! What I love about these sandals is you can wear them with just about anything, so you don’t need to spend ages planning on how you’re going to style them. I love them with a pair of rolled up jeans but they would look great with a pair of shorts too. I went out on a shoot earlier on this week so show off my snazzy new Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn sandals, check them out! <3

Summer Sandals! <3

I am loving the weather over the last few days and so I’ve been on the hunt for some Summer footwear. I fell in love with these gladiator style sandals and think they are a must this season!

HEEY! <3

I am loving the weather over the last few days and so I’ve been on the hunt for some Summer footwear. I’ve recently bought some new black flip flops and I’ve also got some cute leopard print sandals from last year but I fell in love with these gladiator style sandals and think they are a must this season!

There is a cute shop in my local town called Limelight that sells gorgeous clothing, footwear and accessories. They have recently started selling these lovely gladiator style sandals in a variety of colours for just £29.99. They’re comfortable to wear and easy to put on with two buckle straps that go across your foot. I love to style them with a pair of high waisted shorts and a white strappy top which helps bring attention to their strap design.

Tan coloured sandals are my absolute fave because they look great with just about everything. How do you style your gladiator sandals? <3

You can visit the Limelight Facebook page where you can browse & buy their gorgeous range of clothing by clicking here.

February Favourites <3

So whilst I’m sat here watching Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway I’ve decided to write a post on my favourite purchases for this month.. Kinda like a monthly favourites.

Hey everyone!

So whilst I’m sat here watching Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway I’ve decided to write a post on my favourite purchases for this month.. Kinda like a monthly favourites.

I’ve been stocking up on a few bits this month because in 3 weeks time I will be jetting off to Californ-I-A! I’m super excited and I will be vlogging my whole trip over on my YouTube channel. So if you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet then just search ‘Abbyeautifulx’ over on YouTube to follow my adventures next month! I’ve got some exciting trips planned for whilst I’m out there including a visit to Too Faced HQ and a trip to LA INK – High Voltage Tattoo Studio.

So yes, back to the subject of this post… My February Favourites, here we go…

February Favourite #O1

You may or may not have seen the blog post i published last weekend on the Spectrum Collections makeup brushes (mermaid inspired)… Well of course I needed to buy a mermaid inspired bag to match. This rose gold shell bag is from Skinny Dip London, one of my favourite shops right now! They sell so many sweet bags, phone cases and random bits & bobs that you could spend hours on their website or in their store in London. I’ve decided to remove the strap and use this shell bag as a makeup bag for my trip to LA. This sweet phone case (iPhone 5S) matches perfectly and is also from Skinny Dip London.

February Favourites #O2

Nike Air Max Thea Black – £90 <3

I’ve had my eyes on the Nike Air Max Thea trainers for weeks and I desperately wanted them in a khaki/camel colour but they had completely sold out, apart from on eBay where they were selling for a couple of hundred (£££)… Gutted. I then made a decision on whether to purchase them in white/grey or black. I thought grey initially because right now grey is my favourite, but then I decided on black because they will go well with anything. I decided to buy these because they are the perfect shoes to wear whilst shopping in LA.. I mean every girl needs a pair of shoes to go shopping in doesn’t she?!

They’re super comfy and I know that if I were to wear any other type of shoe to stroll around LA in then my feet would be killing by lunchtime (NOT GOOD)! I’ve made the uncomfortable shoe mistake one too many times and I’m not about to do it again…

February Favourites #o3

Third and final favourite for this month are these matching hoodie and trackie bottoms from Rebellious Fashion. As I previously mentioned, grey is my favourite colour right now so this matching set is gorgeous! It’s so comfy to wear just lounging around the house but also looks great to wear out. I’m not one for wearing crop tops, but the trackie bottoms are high waisted which makes them perfect.
